Christmas Gifts - Overflowing with Love -Bringing Hope from Above.

Let's spread love and kindness across India.

“We love because He first loved us” (1 John 4:19). Inspired by the love of Jesus, who sacrificed His life for our freedom, we initiated the “Box of Joy” project in 2020 amidst the challenging backdrop of a global pandemic. Recognizing the opportunity to share the love of Jesus during times of despair, we felt a calling to give back, reflecting on God’s blessings during tough times.

With a desire to bless others, we embarked on the “Box of Joy” project, and miraculously, doors opened, and many friends joined us in this ministry. In December 2020, we created 70 gift boxes for children aged 4-15, filled with essentials and goodies. These boxes became a conduit to reach 70 kids and their families, sharing the message of Jesus’ love and the gospel.

This outreach also saw the involvement of 13 young boys and girls from churches, utilizing their talents to spread the Kingdom of God. We view this as a significant opportunity not only to introduce Jesus into lives but also to empower young individuals to use their God-given talents in building His Kingdom.

TESTIMONY

I still remember the days in my childhood when I received giftbox from operation Christmas. It was pure joy. Now when I participated in box of joy outreach, the smile on the kids faces is speechless. I love photography and I'm so glad I was able to use my talent and capture some of the best moments.

I volunteered in packing the boxes.This is one of the best experiences I ever had. In general, we think Christmas is all about season of cakes, chocolates and celebrations. After this outreach, I realised that as a child of God, my responsibility is to share the love and sacrifice of Jesus.

I enjoyed distributing the boxes and seeing those kids happy. They not only received Gifts but also Jesus into their life. We taught them how to pray. I’m so glad that I got to experience this outreach. Looking forward to be part of it every year.

I was so surprised to meet the kids who speak a different dialect, since I'm unaware of such a group of people who live very close to my city. I learnt that missions is all about sharing the love of Jesus where ever you are. Sometimes someone close to you need Jesus.

Last year, some friends and I had the honor to be apart of Box of Joy in India! When I heard about this project and their heart to give children gift boxes and share Jesus with them for Christmas, I knew this was something that would last when we see Jesus face to face. A few friends and I pitched in for the boxes and sent it! It was awesome, We received video updates of how it went, the boxes being delivered, and the good news about Jesus the children heard. The smiles were priceless. What a great investment this Christmas that we pray will last forever in their hearts.
